This session was simple and relaxed—exactly how sessions with one-year-olds should be.
Since baby wasn’t quite walking yet, we kept everything low and easy. A lot of sitting, being held, and a little bit of crawling. No pressure to do anything beyond what felt natural.
We moved slowly through the nursery, stopping where the light was good and letting things happen as they did. At this age, it’s less about directing and more about giving them space to be themselves.
There were a lot of quiet moments—holding onto mom, looking around, taking everything in. Those are the moments that really show this stage.
Sessions like this don’t need much. Just a comfortable pace, good light, and a little room for connection.
